” Frosty Blue“/“Whales Tongue”:Surprisingly cold hardy (—15 degrees C!) Grows to 3-4 feet. At the end of its lifecycle, a magestic 14 feet foot spire carries interesting greenish yellow flowers.
”Black Widow”: The white hairs of this succulent are reminiscent of the fine texture of a spiders web. Believe to take a 100 years to bloom, but in reality, Agave blooms after 15-20 years as the main crown dies.
”Parryi Trancuta”/“Artichoke”: compact and cold tolerant, grows 1-2 feet, sandy soil, tolerates light shade.
