Japanese Maples

Mikawa Yatsubusa

Just love this very unique, real dwarf maple.  Noted for its tightly layered foliage and almost contorted look! Very sculptural! Dramatic show of fiery red in fall!  Great for containers. For sure a showpiece!

Orange Dream

Award winning! A spectacular little tree, perfect for small gardens or containers.  Leaf out with bright golden leaves that are outlined in orange red!  By summer, leaves darkens to a chartreuse with orange edges.  Fall brings a blaze of flaming yellow and orange colour!
Grows approximately 8’ tall x 5’ wide, requires late afternoon shade or filtered sun.

Chitosa-Yama

Award winning and wonderful little tree! Striking foliage.  Emerging purple-red in spring, matures to green in summer and turns bright crimson in fall! Weeping habit.  Grows 8-12’ tall and wide. Requires late afternoon shade/filtered sun.

Waterfall

A great weeping laceleaf with and an incredible show of yellow, orange, gold and red in fall.  Highly ornamental. Grows to 10 feet tall and 12 feet wide if left unpruned. (6’ tall in 10 years).  Sun to part shade lover.

Orangeola

MULTI-COLOURED pendulous, one of the MOST CASCADING Japanese maples.  New growth emerges as a brighter red as the older growth below is green.  Orange-red in fall! 4’ tall and 3’ wide in 10 years.  Reaches 8 feet tall and wide if left  unpruned.  Great for containers! Sun to part shade. 

Contorta

Rare and unique! Branches weep, twist and contort with age.  Lacy bright green leaves  turn into shades of yellow and orange in fall! Grows 8 feet tall by 12 feet wide!  Sun to part shade lover.

An extremely unique and ornamental variety!  With small, deeply cut, curled leaves, forming dense tufts along twisted branches, this small tree is sure to catch your attention! The bright green foliage turn orange, rust-red in late fall. This lends to the name “Lion’s Head”, as it describes a fierce lion‘s fiery mane. The BARK AGES SHADES OF YELLOW, being the brightest in the winter months. Grows 15 feet tall, 10 feet wide

An elegant, dwarf, red, cascading maple. Leafs out bright red, changing to a deep maroon and by  mid-summer coloration can be red-green before it turns a bright fiery red in fall! Full sun or part shade.

Will grow approximately to 5’ tall and wide in 15 years. Dwarf statue, fantastic in containers! 



Acer pal Shirazz

Upright  then arching, grows around 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide. Leaves on this little dwarf emerges reddish purple with pink margins, turns to olive green with irregular cream or pink margins before turning orange-red in autumn! Morning sun, afternoon shade.

Red Dragon

An uprght-pendulous habit, well branched dwarf maple.  It forms an elegant cascading mound and is perfect for small garden or large containers. As temperatures cool, it transitions to a bright, apple-red colour! Creates a stunning vocal point or accent for lightly shaded gardens, patios and entryways. Grows to 8 feet talll and 5 feet wide.
