On Vancouver Island, the general flowering season for rhododendrons are categorized as:
Early Season: mid March - mid April
Early-Mid Season: mid April-May
Mid-Season: May - June
Late Season: June.

Orange-red flower buds. Spring blossoms open up to amber-yellow with a golden yellow throat and splashes of orange on the outside of the petals. Matures to 3-5’ tall and wide, thrive in full sun with afternoon shade/filtered sun. Flowers early/mid-spring (late April through May).
